Earlier today they did the bone marrow aspiration which i'm a little sore from still(0uch!). And they put in my hickman line(a permanent I.V.) to make it easier to give me chemo and medicine intravenously.
Overall, it was sort of a strange day. I felt like I'd gone back in time 4 years. But there were changes, I'm an adult now! I was the one to sign my consent forms and I don't stay with kids anymore. So I guess I'm officially a grown-up.
I'm pretty tired after today, but hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to post something a little more detailed.
Love,
Karina
Hi Karina,
ReplyDeleteThe Prices are praying for you. What a blessing it is that you are willing to share your journey with others...again. It is such a privilege to pray for you and watch as the Lord works in you and through you. The girls are constantly praying for healing and God's peace and protection for you. Please let us know if you need anything. We are also praying for your mom and dad and Annika and Erik. Bless you!

ReplyDeleteHi Karina - This is from Rick Conway, technology confuses him, he watched his microwave for half an hour, and thought it was a pretty good tv show ("Revolving Chicken"), so he asked me to post it for him:
ReplyDeleteKarina, So sorry to hear the news. Our family will never forget the yacht trip to Malibu we took with you and Lynne doing the face painting. You may not remember...I think you were 6 years old. You loved boats way back then..Know that when we heard the news our whole family got together to pray for you and your family. It was special all 7 of us were together which doesn't happen often now..the boys now range from 13 years old to 23yrs old. Karina I know you are strong and your faith is strong. Remember this in the difficult moments. God will carry you through this the way He did the last time. We are "cheering" for you!!
Love and prayers from Rick and Lynne Conway and all the Boys.

Hi Karina, this is a little weird for me because I didn't know you all too well in high school..but I just wanted to let you know that from what little I did see of you, I think you are one of the kindest people I have ever met. You always had a positive attitude and a quiet strength about you and I know that God is looking down on you. I will keep you in my prayers and I really respect you for blogging about your journey. Best of wishes!
